The same payment, two very different blockchains

On a public chain anyone can read the details. On Stellix the network checks that the payment is valid without learning what it was.

Shield your coins

Move STLX into the shielded pool. From here, your coins mix with everyone else's and lose their history.

Send privately

Pay a Star Name or stealth address. A zero-knowledge proof shows the payment is valid without revealing sender, receiver or amount.

Share only if you want

Give a view key to your accountant or auditor so they can see your history. Nobody else can.

FAQ

Common questions

What is Stellix?

Stellix (STLX) is an open-source digital currency focused on privacy. Payments are verified by the network using zero-knowledge proofs, so balances, amounts and participants stay private.

Is privacy optional?

Privacy is on by default in the Orbit wallet. You can share a view key with anyone you choose, such as an accountant or auditor, so they can see your transaction history.

How do I get STLX?

You can buy or swap STLX on supported markets, mine it with a GPU, or earn rewards by running a Beacon node. See the Get STLX section for links.

What is a Beacon node?

Beacon nodes lock 1,000 STLX as collateral and help the network with InstantLock payments and other services. In return they receive a share of each block reward.

Is Stellix open source?

Yes. All code for the node, wallets and protocol is public, and anyone can review, build or contribute to it.
